To My Clients
Are you struggling with poor self-esteem, moving past your hardships, loss of a loved one, profound disappointment, or recurring thoughts about the past? What you're experiencing may be a form of trauma. Luckily, healing is absolutely possible for all forms of trauma; whether you've survived years of abuse or simply having to come to terms with unmet goals. Trauma can be reprocessed and healed through trauma focused therapy and EMDR therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed mental health counselor, trauma therapist, EMDR certified therapist, consultant in training (CIT), and clinical supervisor with over 14 years experience working in the mental health and addiction fields. In addition to my private practice work, I have also worked for several acclaimed treatment centers throughout Florida as an EMDR therapist and trauma counselor. While I am well-versed in many forms of therapy, my current career focus is on the treatment of trauma, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, individuals with PTSD and C-PTSD, victims of abuse, difficult life circumstances, and individuals who suffer from self-esteem issues and negative core beliefs. Trauma can bring up a lot of uncomfortable feelings so I always strive to provide my clients with judgment-free support and compassion.
My Personal Beliefs
Trauma doesn't discriminate; regardless of where you grew up or what things you've experienced in your life, painful situations are bound to happen. We all have the capacity to heal from even the most horrific of tragedies. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to overcome their struggles in a safe and comfortable way. I have the utmost respect and admiration for my clients, as they gift me with their trust, and allow me to help guide them through their journey to healing. It is a true honor to be a witness to these transformations; seeing someone’s life shift from pain to freedom.
